Red in a Sea of Beige
I Will be the One Wearing Red in a Sea of Beige
My eyes view the world in black and white
My thoughts blend together
In many different shades of grey
But it is my heart that is a kaleidoscope
Bursting with bold, vibrant, beautiful color
So deep - so real - so true
The deepest royal blue is the strength that bonds me to you
Then a blistering heat of gold so radiant
Like a sun that lights up my soul from inside
And then the glittery silver sprinkles
They dance across my skin like stars
These stars are your guide
So you will always come right to me
But the most powerful color that fuels me
Is a fiery and passionate blood red
The deep crimson color keeps me alive
It is the core of my being, it is the pulsating power of my heart
My heart is what holds the best part of me
It is my affection, my passion, my life
All of it I give only to you with a promise
A promise that the flames I you will always keep burning
