Consumed by beauty
Blindsided by inspiration
Steered by wisdom
Uninhibited with freedomY
Unaffected by Reality

Breathe. Just breathe.
Feel the feeling. Don’t become the emotion
Witness it. Allow it. Don’t judge yourself.
No amount of guilt can change the past.
No amount of anxiety can change the future.
Recognize it for what it is and what it’s not.
Release it. Let it go. Breathe.
Now think about today

Be bold. Take risks.
Live life freely. Lead by example.
Trust your gut.
Say what you feel. Mean what you say.
Express gratitude.

under the feet of dancing stars
As they glow as bright as a flurry of fireflies
Or seem to shoot across the darkened sky
Moving alongside you with every step
Starlight will lead you home to me
~
I don’t have an explanation
for why you always pull me in.
Your gravity grabs hold
and I am powerless.
It’s a rush and a high to imagine
how your hands circle my waist
and you pull me closer and closer
until my body becomes yours
and your skin becomes mine
and my soul becomes yours
and you become mine.
~
She has the class of a Queen
And the heart of a Warrior
She commands the respect of others
With the words that she speaks
And the actions that she takes
She is everything all at once
But she is too much for anyone
Who doesn’t deserve her
She is YOU. You know it so stand up
It’s time to rise up my Queen.

Talking to you is like seeing an eternity
Of the moon, the stars and the sky
wrapped up in a warm embrace
To sleep now is to lose the brilliance of light
For a darkness devoid of you.
I need one last word, one last whisper
One sigh to caress my skin
That last shiver makes me hot but brings comfort
And so maybe now I can rest
